About the AOBA

The American Osteopathic Board of Anesthesiology was established in 1956 upon approval by the Board of Trustees of the American Osteopathic Association of the Constitution, Bylaws and Regulations and Requirements.

The AOBA is one of 18 certifying Boards of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and is regulated by its Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists to administer examinations resulting in certification awarded by the American Osteopathic Association.
