Communications Committee

The Communications Committee produces the content and ensures the timely distribution of College publications, including but not limited to e-newsletters and the Annual Report. It also is responsible for content development for all College social media platforms and to help develop a content calendar. Finally, the Communications Committee oversees website pages and content. Qualifications Strong interest in helping to create AOCA publications Collaborative approach to secure articles, resources, and other items of interest to AOCA members Interest or experience in writing, reviewing and editing content for newsletters, annual report and website Strong willingness to help promote AOCA on its social media platforms Desire to advance the mission of AOCA Time Commitment Committee members serve a one-year term (renewable for up to three additional one-year terms) and are expected to fully participate in meetings and conference calls as scheduled-typically 4 calls per year. This committee meets year-round and their work is conducted via email and conference call. This committee also conducts two in-person meetings (one at the Mid Year Seminar and one at the Annual Convention). Attendance is essential and expected of all committee members. Attendance at the Mid Year Seminar and Annual Conference strongly encouraged.
