Vital Anesthesia Practice Optimization Review:
68th Annual Conclave & Conference
September 19-23

As of now,  the 68th Annual Conclave & Conference is moving ahead as scheduled.  Leadership continues to monitor guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and local health officials.

What exactly does "proceeding as planned" mean for you as a conference attendee? First, we encourage you to register for the conference as you normally would. If you need to cancel, you may do so before September 12, 2020, to receive a full refund. Second, we recommend that you make hotel reservations as you normally would. The Arizona Grand allows for cancellations up to 48 hours with no penalty. Third, we recommend that you wait to book flights until closer to the event to avoid potential cancellation charges.

We will proceed with planning as scheduled until June when we anticipate having better clarity around our ability to hold an in-person event. At that point, it may be necessary to pivot and adapt to a new type of event experience.

Please trust that AOCA’s top priority is the health, safety, and well-being of our members and everyone involved with the conference. We will continue to monitor the situation, provide regular updates, and post the most up to date information on AOCA's website.

The AOA encourages all members to earn 75 credits over a three-year cycle of which 18 CME credits should be recorded in AOA Category 1-A and the remaining 57 credits may be accumulated in any category 1-A, 1-B, 2-A or 2-B.
