Q: How do I complete the attestation form?
The attestation form will have a listing of all CME accredited sessions by day. You will need to mark the sessions you attended, which will be shown by the title, date, and time. You may fill out and “save” your attestation form per day. Review your attestation form responses to ensure you have claimed credit commensurate with the extent of your participation in the activity. Submit your attestation form and select if you would like to fill out and save your CME certificate.
Q: Will I complete individual session evaluations?
No, there is one CME attestation form for the entire conference. This attestation form is required to be completed to receive CME credits and will be emailed by March 20.
Q: When will I receive a certificate of completion for my CME credits?
Upon submission of the attestation form, a certificate for your earned credits can be immediately downloaded and printed. Please remember to complete your . The AOCA also reports the credits you earned directly to the AOA Customer Resource Center, which posts the credits to your online CME Activity Report found on Osteopathic.org.
Q: Will I receive a certificate if I am not a current AOCA member or a DO?
If you are a DO, but not a current AOCA member, you can still immediately print your certificate upon submission of the online attestation form. Please remember to complete your attestation by June 30.
Q: What type of CME credits can I earn at AOCA’s 2024 Mid Year Seminar?
Total CME available for this 2024 Mid Year Seminar will be announced soon. You can expect to earn AOA Category 1-A Credits or AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Information on Continuing Medical Education credits for the AOCA Mid Year Seminar are available on the event page under Accreditation.
Q: What is the difference between AOA and AMA credits?
AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are typically allopathic CME while AOA CME is typically osteopathic CME. Both are equivalent. The physician should make a selection on which credit to claim based upon their own personal requirements with their boards, state licensure, etc. Learn more.
