The AOCA Mid Year Seminar provides educational activities for physician anesthesiologists, fellows, residents, non-physician allied health professionals, and medical students who are interested in anesthesiology. AOCA supports a multi-disciplinary and inter-professional approach to continuing medical education and patient care.

Registration & Program Format

The virtual meeting will feature pre-recorded content and opportunities for live Q&A sessions with speakers. Attendees will need access to Zoom to view the presentations during the Mid Year Seminar. For more information, see the FAQs.

Access to the recordings will be available by March 20, 2024. Recordings will continue to be available for participants to view and claim CME credits until June 30, 2024.

Accreditation

AOA Accreditation Statement

The AOA is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to certify education and issue CME credit to physicians. In addition to AOA Category 1A, 1B, 2A and 2B credit, the AOA now offers AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ for CME provided directly or through joint providership with its constituencies. 

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and the American Osteopathic College of Anesthesiologists (AOCA). The AOA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Total CME for the AOCA Mid Year Seminar will be announced soon. AOA designates this activity for a maximum of  18.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ or 18.5 AOA Category 1-A Credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) recognizes the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as approved accreditors and allow reciprocity for AANPCP continuing education credit.
